- 2 lg bunches of broccoli (unwashed)
- 5 tblsps olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsps salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 4 garlic cloves (peeled and sliced)
- 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven @425F.
Cut broccoli into florets (but relatively big ones). Be sure to dry them thoroughly after washing.
Put the broccoli on a cookie sheet. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Now add the 4 garlic cloves that are peeled and sliced and toss them in too.
Bake in the oven 20 to 25 minutes, until crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned.
Now where the magic happens: zest a lemon over the broccoli, squeeze the lemon juice over the broccoli, add 1.5 Tbs more olive oil and 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
