- blueberry vodka
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 1 cup lemon juice (4 to 6 lemons)
- 3 to 4 cups cold water (to dilute)
- blueberries, mint leaves or lemon slices (for garnish)
Of course you can purchase the lemonade, but the difference from store-bought to homemade is undeniable. Plus it’s easy!
First we will make the simple syrup. Heat the sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves completely. This will allow the sugar to distribute itself evenly throughout the drink.
Use a juicer to extract the juice (1 cup) from the lemons and add that to the simple syrup.
Add 3 to 4 cups of water to your desired strength. Chill for about 30 minutes in the fridge.
Fill glass with ice and pour about 1/4 the cup with blueberry vodka. Top off with lemonade and garnish with blueberries, mint leaves or lemon slices as desired.
Mmm… tastes like Summer
