Chef Pagoda’s “10 Course” Meal III

This year was a very special year for all of us at the table. In one way or another we all had something grand to celebrate. Most notably though, Aaron and Meredith just got engaged! In celebration of this, Aaron dedicated the dinner to Meredith (who is vegetarian) having each course constructed without meat.

I was fortunate enough to help him prepare and cook this year’s dinner. Granted, he did all the planning, and days worth of prep before I came in to help; but I got a look into his process, and learned a few new tricks!

This year’s “10 course” ended up being 14 in all. Check them out:

Fake Ground Beef, Chopped Garlic, Jasmine Rice, Minced Jalapeno-Red Bell Pepper-Red Onion, Cumin, Cayenne, and Chili Powder, rolled in Panko Bread Crumbs and fried in Chili Oil

Minced Red Beets mixed with Candied Pecans, Chopped Hazelnuts, Goat Cheese, Fennel, topped with a Cherry Tomato marinated in Balsamic Vinaigrette and drizzled with Basil Infused Olive Oil
