- 1 (4 pound) Corned Beef
- 4 cups Water
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
- 5 Carrots (peeled & chopped)
- 10 Baby Red Potatoes
- 1 lg Onion (peeled & chopped)
- 1/2 head Cabbage (coarsely chopped)
Put the water, beef broth, spice pack (that came with the corned beef) and seasonings in the crock pot; mix well, then add the Corned Beef. Cook on low for 4 hrs.
Add the vegetables (excluding the cabbage) and cook for an additional 4 1/2 hrs.
Take the meat out to rest and add the cabbage. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve with your favorite mustard. If you can find it, Bone Suckin’ makes a fantastic one.
